LeT issues warning to Baramulla SHO after 44 suspected terrorists apprehended in J&K

In the wake of an extensive search operation that was carried out at several locations in Jammu and Kashmir, in which at least 44 people were apprehended under suspicion of being involved in terror related activities, Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Toiba issued a warning to the Baramulla SHO for facilitating the operation.

After receiving a tip-off, a joint team of the Army, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Border Security Force and the Central Reserve Police Force conducted very thorough search operations on the intervening nights of Sunday and Monday in localities including Qazi Hamam, Ganai Hamam, Taweed Gunj and Jamia.

Large quantity of incriminating material such as petrol bombs, Chinese and Pakistan flags, Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jasih-e-Mohammad letter head pads, unauthorised mobile phones and seditious anti-national publicity material were seized during the raids.

In addition a large number of suspected hideouts were busted during the prolonged Search operations. Later, the Security forces sanitised the area searching over 700 houses in a span of 12 hours on Monday.
