BJP supremo, Amit Shah tried to cover up the comments made earlier by PM Narendra Modi when he compared Kerala with Somalia.

Amit Shah, while addressing a rally in Thrissur, on Thursday said, "Kerala has most educated youth across the country. They have the power to challenge IT experts all around the world."

During his address in Thrissur, he slammed Congress President Sonia Gandhi and accused the Congress government of not doing anything to save the Rs12 lakh crore that was lost during the Congress tenure in the state due to corruption.

He accused her of not providing sufficient employment opportunities to the youth in Kerala due to which they are forced to migrate to Delhi and other regions.

Earlier, when Modi made his 'Somalia' remark #PoMoneModi started trending on Twitter, and most had no clue to what it meant. It was later known that it was a subtle way of asking someone to "get lost".
