Kerala: Crude bomb thrown at BJP Parliamentarian and CPM legislator’s homes; left calls it RSS conspiracy

A crude bomb was thrown at the house of a Bhartiya Janata Praty (BJP) parliamentarian in Kerala on Friday night hours after a similar attack was made at the house of left CPM lawmaker on the same night.

According to the family of BJP parliamentarian V Muraleedharan, they were sleeping at their ancestral house when the attack took place at midnight. However, no one was injured in the attack.


As Muraleedharan alleged that the left party Communist Party of India (Marxist) or CPM was behind the attack. The left leader AN Shamseer, whose house was also attacked hours before Muraleedharan's home at 10 pm that is in the same town point out at the BJP's ideological mentor Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh or RSS for the attack.

"This was an RSS conspiracy to instigate violence in the state. They intend to destroy the peaceful atmosphere of the state," he said, according to news agency PTI. Meanwhile, Twenty people have been detained in connection with the attacks, the police said.
