Karnataka Elections 2018: Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad warns, ‘If Governor did not follow the constitution values then there will be a bloody conflict’

The political pressure in Karnataka was witnessed by everyone on the day of result announcement on 15th May. However, BJP was leading than the other parties like Congress and JD (S) in the state. There were complete chances for the BJP to form the government in the state. Later, Congress had decided to make an alliance with JD(S) to form the govt which has surprised everyone at the last moment. Due to which the competition between the parties increased more.

Now, Governor of the state will decide that which party will go to become the ruling party in the state. Therefore, the heartbeat of the parties has been raised now. At the same time, the Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has given some controversial statement that BJP has threatened his party MLAs. He also added that the opposition is pressurizing his party members, Ghulam said he does not believe in democracy.


Azad also said that if the Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala did not follow the constitutional values and also not invited us to form the government, then, there would be a bloody conflict in the state. He also said that there are the rumours that have been spread by the opposition that Congress is dissatisfied with the result but in reality, BJP is not happy.

Meanwhile, Congress MLA Amaregouda Linganagouda Patil Bayyapur said that BJP has offered him the post of Cabinet Minister, but he rejected it.

Ghulam Nabi Azad also told that BJP has emerged as the largest party in the state but did not have the majority to win. As BJP has only 104 seats while Congress has 117 seats. Therefore, the Governor cannot be biased in deciding who will form the government.

He has also raised the question that the person who is responsible to save the constitution, will destroy it? He said that a governor has to end all his old relationship, whether he is a part of BJP or RSS.
