Karnataka crisis: Congress leader Siddaramaiah to request the suspension of 4 dissenting MLA's of Congress

As the uproar continues in Karnataka, the Congress leader Siddaramaiah has said that he would be requesting the Assembly speaker to suspend 4 Congress MLA’s who have been dissenting from a long period of time.

The Congress-JDS government is due to present the Budget for the state today and it was being expected that CM H.D Kumaraswamy would be coming up with plum postings for the dissenting MLA’s, to woo them ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.


Today, while in a press conference Kumaraswamy alleged that BJP is directly involved in horse trading and deals are being struck between the dissenting MLA’s and the BJP.

He said, “Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy releases audio clip of a conversation allegedly between BJP State Chief BS Yeddyurappa and JDS MLA Naganagowda Kandkur's son Sharana where Yeddyurappa made offer Rs 25 cr and ministerial post for his father.”
