Police arrested a soldier on 3 April at the Srinagar airport after two grenades were found in his baggage.
According to the reports, the jawan had to take a flight to Delhi but he was caught at security check with the grenades.
The soldier, reportedly, serves near the Line of Control in the Uri sector, Jammu and Kashmir.
According to sources, the 17 Jammu and Kashmir Rifles jawan who hailed from Darjeeling, said that he was unaware of the grenades in his possession.
The soldier is currently being questioned.
