J&K: Four policemen included Special Police Officers missing from Shopian

A shocking news has come to light from Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday night where four policemen were missing. Among the missing personnel included three were Special Police Officers (SPOs) and one was Police Constable. However, three of them found dead and their dead bodies have been recovered from Shopian.

As per the reports, the four of them have been kidnapped by militants in J&K. However, a search operation has been launched to find the missing police officers. 


 

 

 

Last night, two militants have been gunned down in an encounter with the security forces in North Kashmir's Bandipora district.

Meanwhile, the search operation has been started by the Rashtriya Rifles, the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the state police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Bandipora's Sumlar village after receiving an input about the presence of militants in the district.
