The Indian Embassy in Brazil organised the launch of the book India-Brazil Diplomatic Relations (1948 - 2017), a book that celebrates 70 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

The bi-lingual publication presents a coherent analysis of the evolution of this relationship in a bilateral and multilateral context. It has a foreword by the Ambassador of India to Brazil, Sunil Lal.

The contributors to the book include Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri and former Ambassador of India to Brazil Tovar da Silva Nunes, Ambassador of Brazil to India B.S. From the foreword which presents a concise background of the relationship, the book moves on to delve deeper into the historical, political, cultural and commercial aspects of it in four concise essays, presenting a panoramic view of this partnership to the readers.

The book also has a list of ambassadors of India to Brazil and ambassadors of Brazil to India. The list of high-level visits on both sides and the updated list of agreements/MoUs (Memoranda of Understanding) between the two countries are also included.
