IIM Sambalpur summer placements: Average stipend Rs 24,896

The Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur has wrapped up its summer placements for the batch of 2015-17. A total of 69 offers from 34 companies were made to a batch of 48 students.

Some of the top sectors were BFSI, Consultancy, E-commerce, Finance, Automobile, Logistics and postal services, Hotel & Tourism amongst others.

According a release from the institute, the average stipend offered for two months for the batch was Rs 24,896. Average Stipend for top 25 percentile of students stood at Rs 70,000 and average stipend for top 50 percentile of students was Rs 46,364.

Roles from varied domains were offered to students. Top segments based on roles offered were from BFSI (31%) , Marketing(15%), Marketing Research(15%) and Finance(11%).

Companies who offered internship roles to IIM Sambalpur include Exim Bank , IDBI BANK, State Bank of India, Bank of India , Hero Group, JK Tyre, ThyssenKrupp, Indiabulls, ShopClues , India Posts, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), Power Finance Corporation, UpGrad, Milk Mantra, Philips India, Pokarna Granites, Sheela Foam Pvt Ltd-Sleepwell , Way2Wealth Brokers Pvt. Ltd.,WheelStreet, Housing and Urban Development Department(HUDD) - Government of Odisha, Niraamaya, Seven Hexagons Business Consultants and others.
