Former Union Minister and BJP leader Arun Shourie launched an attack on the present government, saying there has never been a weaker PMO.
At a function to launch former Business Standard Editor-in-chief TN Ninan's book, Turn of the Tortoise, Shourie said that the present government has confused its role and is 'managing headlines' rather than the economy. "People have started recalling the days of Manmohan Singh. The way to characterise policies of the government is: Congress plus a cow." said Shourie, much to the chargin of BJP and the amusement of social media. Twitter currently lies divided in the aftermath of his comments and while some are amused, others are getting quite hysterical with rage. The ones who think his comment is gold:#ArunShourie's description of @BJP4India pic.twitter.com/wDoi0TLLAL

When one's popularity starts fading,a controversial statement is a good antidote. #arunshourie
