Gujarat: Explosion heard at naval base; forces put on alert; firecracker, says Navy

An explosion was reportedly heard at the naval base in Porbander, Gujarat, on 7 October.
Forces were put on alert and cops rushed to the spot.
Nothing objectionable has been recovered so far.
According to ANI, the Navy has clarified that the sound came from a fire cracker.
"News of explosion erroneous, it was a fire cracker that exploded near Porbandar naval base," said Navy.
