G20 Summit: PM Modi coined a new word for Japan, America and India as ‘JAI’ during trilateral meeting; see video

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first trilateral meeting with the US President Donald Trump and Japan PM Shinzo Abe has been concluded with a positive note. While addressing the media, PM Modi has expressed his joy and called that President Trump and PM Abe are his good friends and also both the countries are India’s strategic partners.

He even coined a word for the relations with the two countries as ‘JAI’ which formed after Japan-America-India. However, ‘JAI’ means success.


During the first trilateral meeting G20 summit in Buenos Aires, some major issues of global and multilateral interests were discussed. Also, the aggressive gesture of China in the Indo-Pacific region also discussed.

PM Modi also stated that India will continue to work with the United States of America and Japan and also added that the three countries share a common vision and goal in the strategic region.

As per the PTI, Japanese premier Abe said he was happy to participate in "the first ever 'JAI' trilateral" while President Trump lauded India’s growth story.
