Fuel Price on Fire: Petrol and Diesel set a new record on Krishna Janmashtami; check out the price in metropolitan cities

Today, the country is celebrating the Lord Krishna birthday, the eight avatars of Lord Vishnu. However, on this auspicious occasion, you have to spend little more money for buying Petrol and Diesel today. Yes, the price of the fuel is on fire as on Monday there is a huge hike in the price of the fuel, just a day after it set a record on Sunday.

Once again, the price of the Diesel and Petrol all set to make a new record.

In Delhi:

The price of petrol has reached to Rs 79.15 per litre, an increase of Rs 0.31. While the price of diesel is Rs 71.15, an increase of Rs 0.39.

In Kolkata:

Here also the price of Petrol is increased by Rs 0.30 and the new cost is Rs 82.06, while the price hike in Diesel is Rs 0.39, which is now Rs 74.

In Mumbai:

The price of petrol in the ‘city of dreams’ has increased to Rs 75.54 after an increase of Rs 0.42. While that of petrol reached Rs. 86.56 with an increase of Rs 0.31 per litre.

Since 16th August, it has been a huge hike in the price of fuel after the declination of rupee against US Dollar.

Earlier on Sunday, the price of Petrol and Diesel in Delhi has witnessed an increment in the prices, which cost Rs 78.84 and Rs 70.76 respectively. While in Mumbai, the price was recorded at Rs 86.25 and Rs 75.12 respectively. In Kolkata, the price of petrol is Rs 81.76 and diesel is Rs 73.61 respectively.
