Former Deputy Superintendent of Police Anupama Shenoy, who had resigned from service after citing allegations of harassment by a Karnataka minister, has released audio tapes of phone conversations she had with the Minister and her superiors in question.

She has also written to Home Minister Rajnath Singh, appealing him to take disciplinary and criminal action against the seniors who had allegedly pushed her to resign.

She released tapes containing excerpts of her telephonic conversations with PT Parameshwar Naik, former Labour Minister and with her superiors to news channel Times Now. The tapes also contain her exchanges with the state police chief, who she alleges, had transferred her after she crossed Naik.

Shenoy, who resigned on 4 June after being transferred several times in the recent past, had threatened to take to Facebook to reveal some incriminating information against Labour Minister PT Parameshwara Naik.
