Delhi: Class 7 girl commits suicide after two teachers called her 'characterless,' write suicide note on palm
In another suicide incident, a Class 7 girl student allegedly committed suicide at her home in Inderpuri in Delhi. The girl reportedly killed herself when her mother was away at work. She has written a suicide note on her palm, reports ANI.
The girl's parents suspect that she committed suicide after she was scolded by her teacher in the classroom. According to deceased mother, her friend told that she was very sad as two of her teachers had called her 'characterless' in front of the whole classroom.

“The girl committed suicide around 3 pm on December 1,” Additional deputy commissioner of police (west) Sameer Sharma said. “She had scribbled on her hand ‘Mama I love you...I am leaving this world,’ Sharma added
The mother said, “My daughter complained the same teacher rebuked her every day. It was the same teacher who rebuked and humiliated her on Friday for 10 minutes before her class teacher in the biology lab. “She had cried in the school bathroom following the episode,” HT reported.
However, the police are investigating from all angles to find the exact reason for suicide. The girl was found hanging at her house on Saturday, a senior police officer was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
Meanwhile, the school management in its statement said, they are fully cooperating with the investigating authority and were also conducting an internal inquiry.
"As of now we are not at liberty to disclose any details which may jeopardise the police investigation of the case," the statement said.
