After the nine days of strike today Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal called off the sitting protest at Lieutenant Governor's house over the alleged IAS officers.

Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal urged Arvind Kejriwal to “urgently meet” IAS officers meeting at the Delhi Secretariat in his response to the chief minister’s sit-in protest after a week’s silence.


Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and three of AAP Ministers, including Manish Sisodia was on protest fast at L G Anil Baijal's official residence since last Monday has evoked massive outrages in the national capital. Delhi High Court on Monday asked who authorised Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his ministers to hold Dharna at Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal’s official residence.

As reported in Scroll “You have arranged the strike of IAS [Indian Administrative Services] officers in Delhi for the last four months,” Kejriwal said. “It is unimaginable that a country’s prime minister, out of political malice, would get bureaucrats in the capital city to stop work.”
