Jammu and Kashmir's National Panthers Party (NPP) staged a demonstration outside the Pakistan High Commission in the national capital on Saturday demanding to declare Pakistan a terror state.

"Pakistan has made Jammu and Kashmir a living hell. Pakistan soldiers are ceaselessly indulging in ceasefire violations and also beheading our soldiers. Their dastardly actions have destroyed the state peace. How can one simply keep beheading the soldiers? What kind of policy is it? We are hopeful that the Government will not only take a strong action but the international community will also favour India in declaring Pakistan a terror state. " said one of the protestors to ANI.

Citing the sufferings and death of innocent civilians, besides the attack on Indian troops, the demonstrators further added that such brutal acts will not be tolerated any more.

"Our government has not taken any stern action so far, which is why Pakistan has been so daring in beheading our soldiers. From the past three years Pakistan has enhanced the number of ceasefire violations. We blame it on government's foreign policy towards Pakistan," said another protester.

The demonstrators shouted out slogans like 'Declare Pakistan a terror state' and were seen holding the placards displaying quotes like 'Down with Pakistan' jotted down on them.

Heavy police forces have been deployed outside the High commission to deal with the protestors. The forces forcefully dragged one of the demonstrators and asked him to move ahead and leave the site.

Meanwhile, two civilians have been killed as Pakistan Army continued its unprovoked ceasefire violation in Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, to which the Indian troops are giving a befitting reply.

"Pakistani Army initiated indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics, 82 mm and 120 mm mortars from 0715 hours along the Line of Control (LC) in Naushera sector," said an official statement.

The Indian Army posts are retaliating strongly and effectively and the firing is presently on.
