Coronavirus in India: Total cases mount to 4,789, death toll at 124

India reported 354 fresh Covid-19 cases since Monday and reported eight deaths because of Sars-CoV-2 in the last 24 hours. As maintained by the Union Health Ministry. The total number of coronavirus cases in the country soared to 4,421.

As of this moment, India is in the middle of Stage 2 and 3 of the pandemic with huge number of cases rooted out from specific locations.


Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated that India have been proactive and comprehensive in its line of action to combat the coronavirus outbreak. He raised the morale of the citizens to carry out a spate of measures to stay out of harm’s way and give assistance to those in jeopardy.

In Maharashtra, which is the worst hit state in the country recorded 150 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday. Out of this, 116 cases were recorded in Mumbai alone. As a result of this, the state count has mounted to 1,018 cases, according to the state health department.
