The Congress is gearing up to unveil the party's political strategies and is setting a roadmap for the next five years at its plenary session. This plenary session will last for two-days that started today in Delhi. The party sets an agenda to mainly focus on highlighting the failures of NDA led PM Modi's government.
The party is drawing a path for themselves for the next five years. Sources said Sonia Gandhi is also expected to speak at the session, to be held at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium.
Rahul Gandhi, Congress party president, had a meeting on Friday with Congress's state presidents, Congress CM's, and Congress legislature party leaders from all states before giving a final shape to the draft resolutions to be adopted at the conclave.
In his inaugural speech as part of the Congress plenary session at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, the party chief Rahul Gandhi said that only our party (Congress) can unite a 'divided nation'. He added “Only Congress can show the way for this nation. This country belongs to all irrespective of which religion caste community one belongs to. We will work for all.”
