As the Congress party gets ready to launch Priyanka Gandhi on ground in the UP east, BJP has already started to target the new entrant, as BJP MP Harish Dwivedi has made sexist remark.

BJP is being said to be furious with the entry of Priyanka Gandhi, who might eat up into the Upper Caste vote share of the ruling party.

Now, BJP MP Harish Dwivedi from Basti has stooped low with his remarks on Priyanka and have targeted the attire of the leader stating that ‘she wears western clothes in Delhi while changes to ethnic when she visits Uttar Pradesh for campaigning.’

Priyanka Gandhi, who is being considered as the trump card for the Congress party, to rejuvenate the base and party workers in Uttar Pradesh, will be rallying and hold road shows in Lucknow and other places of Eastern UP.

Harish, while in Basti, said, “Rahul fail hain toh Priyanka bhi fail hain. Jab Priyanka Gandhi Delhi mein rehti hain toh jeans aur top mein rehti hai aur jab shetra mein aati hain toh saree aur sindoor laga kar aati hain.”

UP holds the key to the Lok Sabha election and BJP had won 71 seats out of 80, creating a record win and Congress was decimated to just 2 seats, and that too traditional Amethi and Raebareli.
