Let me draw your kind attention to an important matter. It is reported from booth number 79 - CMS Higher Secondary School, Arappatta in Mooppanad Panchayath that the voting machine is damaged. A vote is not being cast even after pressing twice,” he wrote in the letter.

The seven assembly segments of the Wayanad constituency has a total voters population of 13,25,788 wherein 20% belong to the Ezhava community. And a large part of voters are Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Voters.

Rahul Gandhi has decided to contest on two seats in this polls, other than his traditional Amethi, which has been the stronghold and the home turf of the Congress party. The BJP alleged that Rahul Gandhi is afraid of losing and hence, he has chosen to cotest from two seats.

The results of the polls will be released on May 23.
