Rejecting rumours that a secret deal had been struck with former BJP MP Navjot Singh Sidhu that he would be projected as the chief ministerial candidate for Punjab after joining the Aam Aadmi Party, AAP core committee member Sanjay Singh today said that there was no secret or open deal in this regard. Singh insisted that it is wrong to say that the latter is coming to AAP on certain conditions or pre-conditions.

"There is no secret or open deal in this regard. Sidhu is a brave man who has taken a daring decision, but it is wrong to say that he is coming on certain conditions or pre-conditions," said Singh.

Responding to a statement by Union Minister and daughter-in-law of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, Harsimrat Kaur that if Sidhu could leave Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister, he could not be faithful to anyone, Singh said, "Parkash Singh Badal Pvt Ltd company's tenure is going to be over in 2017. The people of Punjab have rejected that Pvt Ltd company badly.

"There is anger among the people because of corruption and drug business, in which his leaders and family members are involved. Besides, there are transport mafia, land mafia, sand mafia and all sorts of mafias are flourishing under the Badal government. And for the same reason, Sidhu took the big decision of leaving the party."
