The Aam Aadmi Party on 3 May agreed to compromise after which AAP founder-member Kumar Vishwas decided to stay in the party.

Addressing the press, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that Delhi legislator Amanatullah Khan, who has already resigned from Political Affairs Committee (PAC), has now been suspended from the party.

Senior AAP leader Kumar Vishwas will be heading the Rajasthan unit of party.

The chief minister Arvind Kejriwal along with Sisodia had visited Vishwas's Ghaziabad residence on 2 May to pacify him.

"Kumar Vishwas is inherent part of our movement...he is upset, but I'm hopeful that we will be able to convince him," Mr Kejriwal had said after meeting Vishwas.

Reportedly, Vishwas had insisted that stern action be taken against Okhla MLA Amantullah Khan, who had accused the poet-turned-politician of being a RSS-BJP agent and plotting a coup in the party.
