20-year-old girl gangraped twice in one week at Palghar leprosy center

In a shocking incident, a 20-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped twice by four people in Palghar, Maharashtra, the police said on 13 August.
According to a PTI report, the incident took pace in a leprosy centre on 5 and 11 August.
The police have registered an offence under sections 376(d) 363, 341 and 328 of the IPC against the four accused - who are absconding.
According to police, the four took the woman to an isolated place in the compound of a leprosy centre. The accused placed a handkerchief on her mouth and rendered her unconscious after which they abused her.
Two of the accused have been identified by the victim as Abdul and Arbaz. No arrests have been made so far.
