Uttar Pradesh: 6 men gangrape woman at her home in Kasoliya village
A woman was allegedly gangraped by six men in Kasoliya village, police said on 18 May. The incident happened on Monday when the accused - Madan Lal, Banke Lal along with Ratan Lal, Jagdish, Sanjoo, and Manoj Yadav came to her home and raped her.
An FIR has been lodged against six of them by the victim's brother. Police have arrested one of the accused Madan Lal in connection to this case.
Meanwhile, in another incident, a 16-year-old girl was raped by two persons near Shekhpura village in Kotwali Jaithera.
The girl had travelled to Dhumari town to purchase medicines and when she was returning home along with her relative she was raped by a bicycle mechanic and his accomplice.
An FIR has been lodged against the two of them by the girl and one person has been arrested in this connection, said Kailash Chandra, Station officer Kotwali Jaithera.
