UP: Veterinarian held for allegedly raping married woman in Muzaffarnagar
A veterinarian has been arrested for allegedly raping a 35-year-old married woman at her house in Kutubpur village in Muzaffarnagar, the police said today.
The incident occurred on 20 June when the accused Ramnivas went to the victim's house.
As per the complaint filed by the victim's husband, the accused forced himself upon his wife and raped her. A case was registered against the doctor, the police said, adding that he has been arrested.
In another incident, a 7-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by a youth in Rampuri area here yesterday, police said.
A case has been registered against the accused, Naveen Kumar, and steps are being taken to trace him.
Meanwhile, three persons were arrested for the gang rape of a 17-year-old girl at New Mandi area, the police said.
The accused Siddharth, Mohit and Ankit were arrested for raping a girl and making a video of the act.
