Thanks to Nintendo's secret ploy to turn human brains to Pokemon-hunting mush, a husband and a father of two was busy catching Pokemon while his wife went into labour and brought their third child into the world, a beautiful baby girl.

A photo of Jonathan Theriot's fabulous, life-changing feat showed up on Imgur, where he captioned the moment as: "When your wife is about to have a baby and a Pokemon shows up and you have to low-key catch it..."

The wife in question, Jessica Theriot, is seen lying hunched up and exhausted from being in labour as the Pokemon - a Pidgey - shows up at the foot of the bed.
