After a social media buzz on Baba Ramdev’s Swadeshi Sim launching in the country has made everyone surprised. Reports were saying that the Yoga Guru is planning to enter the telecom sector and also had announced to do the partnership with BSNL with a new plan of Rs 144.

Later, reports came that the news was misconstructed because there was only a tie-up between BSNL and Patanjali only for the employees of the company and the linked organizations.


Patanjali has also issued a statement and mentioned that it was incorrect to say that the company was planning to enter the telecom sector. The official statement also reads that ‘Patanjali has collaborated with BSNL for low rate calls, and other benefits, for its own workers across the country.’

 

 

Well, with the launch of Swadeshi SIM, it has grabbed the millions of eyeballs on social media. Some have welcomed the Baba Ramdev’s new idea but many have made a fun of it. As we all know very well that Twitterati can’t ignore anything which can amuse us. The same has happened in this case, the micro-blogging website has flooded with the jokes and memes.

Besides, the SIM card, Ramdev’s Patanjali also going to register its entry to the chatting application world now. Yes, Baba has also launched its instant messaging app called Kimbho.

Baba’s new app moto is to promote the ‘swadeshi messaging platform’ that will be going to compete for the other leading messaging app like WhatsApp in the market. The new app is already up and live on Android Play Store and has already received over 10,000 downloads.
