Four-year-old cancer patient 'marries' favourite nurse, internet happy-cries

In a video gone viral, four-year-old Abby is shown 'marrying' Matt Hickling, her absolute favourite nurse at Albany Medical Centre's Melodies Centre for Childhood Cancer. A video that will make you happy-cry almost instantly.

The little child who had 'proposed' the idea to her mother, making plans for her 'wedding'. So the staff at AMC's kids cancer wing decided to surprise her.

This video posted by Facebook page, Unilad, we see Abby walking down the 'aisle' which has rose petals strewn all over. Wearing a white frilly dress and holding a bouquet, she walks in holding her mother's hand and runs to hug her 'betrothed'. Matt wore a black tee shirt that had a tuxedo 'drawn' over it. Like literally.

Post the short 'ceremony' which was officiated by by Abby's doctor, which in itself speaks volumes of the care the staff at this hospital is taking of its patients. Once the wedding was over, Hickling took Abby off for a spin in a bright pink car like the hero that he is.
