A few days ago, reports of people asking for a refund after Bobby Deol DJed for them hit the news. Bobby, who clearly does not know Delhi very well, had played songs from his superhit film, Gupt. Needless to say, the Delhi crowd was deeply unhappy with the lack of songs about alcohol. Because what is a party even without a single reference of neat whiskey, vodka shots and patiala pegs. Silly Bobby.
On the heels of that, we have news of actor / model Ashmit Patel turning to DJing. Ashmit, post a lacklustre run in Hindi cinema and a fairly successful stint on TV, will soon be DJing for a party in Mumbai. And Twitter, is deeply unhappy at that.
Maybe he'll be a much better DJ than he ever was an actor. Maybe he won't be. But why wait and watch when you look into the future and judge today:
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a DJ. pic.twitter.com/1Ovw72zRb8

You know you've arrived when you give up your Bollywood career (?!) to DJ a party in Vashi. Ashmit Patel rocks. https://t.co/7jzirPMPaD

Forget about us, Ashmit Patel himself can't see himself as a DJ. pic.twitter.com/afOyzUTj2g

You either die a flop TV-cum-Movie wannabe or you live long enough to see yourself become a DJ.
