Navratri festival has already begun in the country and now the celebration will be approaching towards its last stage. However, the most famous and special celebrations have been celebrated in West Bengal as Durga Puja. People used to visit the Kolkata to witness the Durga Puja.

Every year, the celebration of the festival in Kolkata celebrated with a unique style. This year also, you will be amused to see the Durga Puja pandal which has been made with more than 4,000 kg of turmeric.


Yes, a Puja Pandal in the Santoshpur lake Pally in Kolkata where more than 4,000 kg of turmeric has been used to make the pandal.

As per the reports of India Today, the whole pandal has been made of lakhs of turmeric. The centre of attraction of the pandal is the cooking bowl which has been made for decor. However, the moto behind using turmeric is to spread the awareness of the importance of health.

Even Maa Durga idol has made with a lovely colour combination which is also made with turmeric. Her saree is so splendid that one can’t take their eyes away from her idol.

The sponsor of the pandal is the spice manufacturer who has arranged the haldi for the pandal.

As we all know that Durga Puja spreads positivity in the environment and also gives us energy just like the food gives us. Therefore, this concept of making Durga Puja Pandal with 'haldi' is amazing and unique as well.
