The State Bank of India has conducted the SBI Clerk exam through online mode at the various centres throughout the country. The candidates who are willing to crack the SBI clerk exam this year should gird up their loins, as your preliminary examination date is nearer to you. Therefore, be focused on your studies. 

For getting selected for the post of Junior Associate, candidates have to qualify the two main phases of the examination i..e prelims exam and mains exam. The examination of both the phases will be Computer Based Test (CBT). However, only those candidates will go for the mains examination, who could able to qualify the prelims of SBI Clerk 2018. The SBI will only be shortlisted the candidates according to the seat availability released by the bank.


After qualifying the first phase of the examination, the selected students will have to appear for the online mains examination. For getting selected in this mains exam, candidates need to qualify each section of the exam as well as their overall cut-off in the main examination also matter for selection.

The Final result is declared on the basis of merit list in SBI Clerk Mains Exam.

Important dates for SBI Clerk 2018 exam are given below: 

  • The preliminary examination will be held on 23rd June, 24th June and 30th June 2018.
  • The admit card for the Clerk exam can be accessed by the candidates on 6 June 2018.
  • The main examination for SBI Clerk Junior Associate will be held on 5th August 2018.

According to the reports, SBI has also introduced some changes in the examination pattern of SBI Junior Associate 2018 exam. Yes, as per the reports, there is a possibility that candidates need to score the minimum qualifying marks in each section of the SBI Clerk 2018 exam i.e. sectional cut-off. Therefore, there is an expectation that SBI to waived off the sectional cut-off. Well, these are only the expectation, no confirmation has come from the side of SBI.
