India Post Recruitment 2020: Over 2000 vacancies released for 10th pass; apply before last date

India Post has started the recruitment process to fill over 2000 vacant posts. Candidates who have qualified 10th class can apply for the positions released by India Post.

Under this recruitment, a total of 2,582 vacancies will be filled for the post of Gramin Dak Sevaks. The online application process was started on November 12. While the last date to submit the application form is December 11, 2020.

Under 2,582 Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment, positions that will be filled are Branch Postmaster, Dak Sevak, and Assistant Branch Postmaster.

Selection process:

The selection to the post of India Post Gramin Dak Sevaks post will be done through the merit of their class 10 marks. It means candidates need not to appear for any examination or interview.

Educational Qualification Required:

An applicant must be 10th pass from the recognized school education board. It is mandatory that the applicant should have passed in Maths, Local Language, and English in class X. It is also necessary to study the local language by the 10th. As per notification, candidates who have qualified class 10th exam in their first attempt will be given preference in the selection process.

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit required to apply for the post is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 40 years. Age relaxation to reserved categories will be given as per government norms.

Salary:

Candidates who will qualify the exam will get the following salary:

• For Branch Post Master- Rs 12,000 to Rs 14,500
• For GDS/ABPM post- Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000
