Assam Police Recruitment 2020: Over 6000 vacancies released for Constable post; apply before 6 January

The State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam (SLPRB Assam) has released a recruitment notification for the post of Constable on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the post on or before January 6, 2020.

There is a total of 6662 vacancies are out for the post of Constable (Unarmed Branch/Armed Branch). Out of the total posts, 1917 vacancies released for Constable UB Branch and 3419 are released for Constable Armed Branch.

The registration link will be activated from December 23, 2019. The application process for the post of Assam Police can be done through the SLPRB website i.e. www. slprbassam.in.

Previously, Assam Police published 5494 vacancies for the post of Constable on April 26, 2018, in a leading newspaper in Assam. Now, 1168 vacancies have been increased by the government of Assam for the posts of Constable in Assam Police.

Eligibility Criteria for Constable Posts:

Candidates should have qualified HSLC Exam or HSSLC Passed from the state-recognized board/institute.

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit required to apply for the posts is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 25 Years.
