Jerry Lawler
Jerry Lawler was in the peak of his career in 1999 when he took a break and ran for Mayor of Memphis. He remained a popular figure of Memphis for decades.
Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan announced his retirement in 1998 to run 2000 presidential race. However, he returned to the ring a month after. In 2015 he went on the campaign trail as Trump’s running mate.
Linda McMahon
Wife and former CEO of WWE Linda McMahon ran for Republican Senator in 2010 and 2012 but not able to win. She even gave $7 million to Trump organisations during the campaign. She was later appointed as the head of Small Business Administration in Trump's cabinet.
