When Saudi border guards take over Qatar border crossing, Watch Video:

In a video that has gone viral Saudi Arabia’s border guards are seen taking control of the Salwa Canal. For the official launch of the Salwa Canal, the Saudi Border Guard Forces took over the crossing. According to Saudi local media customs and visas departments have been cleared from the crossing border zone. This latest development can be for an ambitious project of tourism and commercial waterway alongside the 60km border between Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Although Doha and Riyadh haven't officially announced anything. Neither the actual timing of Salwa Canal project launch has been shared. However, this project can make Qatar the second Gulf state lying on an island. 

One of the trusted sources confirmed that a Saudi military base can be established in the border between the Qatar and Salwa Marine Channel. Remaining parts of the channel will be transformed into a nuclear waste burial site, according to the source.
