Gone are the days when the police patrol was a common sight, Dubai is on the verge to make a history.  On Monday, the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) announced that a new initiative called “Police without Policemen” would be implemented very soon.

Technology surpases human surveillance

Under this initiative, the Dubai Police would be reassigned to fewer administrative and procedural tasks. Rather, most of the operations would be backed with advanced technology.

This initiative will be implemented under Dubai 10X plan, which aims at taking the government entities 10 years ahead of most of the countries and cities.
