Malaysia's 33-year-old 'Snake Whisperer' dies four days after wild cobra bite

The 33-year-old Abu Zarin Hussin who was popularly known for his selfie with venomous snake succumbed to death on Friday after he was bitten by a wild cobra four days back.
His pictures and videos with the venomous snake while working, sleeping, gymming went viral on social media. Even his pictures of kissing king cobra snakes on the mouth appeared on a TV show Asia's Got Talent last year. His daring act earned the name the “snake whisperer”.

He was bitten by a wild cobra while responding to a call to catch the aggressive reptile shared the Director of  Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department, Khiruddin Drahman, "The snake he caught was a wild spitting cobra. A single bite can even kill an elephant."  He even added that they lost a very talented officer.

This is a common practice that a firefighter is sent to deal with venomous snakes. And, Abu Zarin was one of the renowned officers in Kuala Lumpur who even taught junior officers, the tactics of catching the venomous reptiles.

One a reality show, Abu Zarin shared that he learned this art from his father whom he called a "snake charmer". In the years 2007, he started taming the animal.

This was not the first time that the brave man was bitten by a deadly snake, three-year-back, he was in coma for two days due to a cobra bite.

However, it was only two-year-back that he came to limelight and emerged as an internet sensation after it was falsely reported that he had married a snake because he believed the serpent was his dead girlfriend reincarnated.
