American rapper mogul Jay Z was recently on the show of David Letterman's new Netflix show, My Next Guest where he disclosed that he cheated on his wife Beyonce. He said he will put in work for years to fix his wrongdoing.

In the 50-minute candid conversation, he not only talked about his married life but also about his mother who came out as a lesbian.

While the interview was heading towards its endmost point, Letterman shared a past incident when he cheated on his wife and regretted a lot. Similarly, in 2014 there was speculation and later confirmed that Jay-Z also cheated on his wife, Beyonce. Letterman asked the rapper if the incident rang a bell.

In 2014, a video went viral of his sister-in-law Solange Knowles attacking him in an elevator.

In 2016 Beyonce's record "Lemonade," referred to cheating. Lyrics was "You can taste the dishonesty/It's on your breath as you pass it off so cavalier" and a mention of the mysterious "Becky with the good hair." It was last year November that Jay-Z finally admitted his misdeed.

Jay-Z in response to Letterman accepted that he went through therapy and with Beyonce's support, he is trying to get over this.

He said, "For a lot of us, especially where I grew up and men in general, we don't have emotional cues from when we were young. Our emotional cue is 'Be a man. Don't cry,"

He also added that he wanted to cry and open up but he did not know how to do that. However, Beyonce support and understanding helped him get over the worst of what he did.

Jay-Z said: "I like to believe we're in a better place today. I'm proud of the father and the husband that I am today."

Talking about his mother's sexuality, Jay-Z shared that his 2017 album "Smile discloses his Gloria Carter sexuality. Lyrics of the song"Mama had four kids, but she's a lesbian/Had to pretend so long that she's a thespian." is about his mother. At the end of the song, there is a spoken word poem, saying: "Life is short, and it's time to be free/Love who you love because life isn't guaranteed."

Jay Z shared that listening to his mom disclosing about her someone she loved made him cry. He cried not because he was sad rather he was happy that she was free.
