Indian viagra firms prepare for dominance in US
The year 2020 would be a good year for the manufacturer of the Indian version of Viagra. The US would open the gate for the manufacturer of the iconic drug that cures of erectile dysfunction.on.
An American pharmaceutical corporation, Pfizer's patent will open gates of the lucrative US market to Indian companies.
Some fifteen Indian companies have been given approval by US Food and Drug Administration to produce Viagra.
According to the report, seven of these Indian companies are Mumbai-based Rubicon Research, Hyderabad-based Hetero Drugs, Mumbai-based Macleods Pharma, Dr.Reddy’s, Aurobindo PharmaNSE, Torrent Pharmaceuticals and Ajanta Pharma.
This new gateway would benefit Indian companies. The pill costs about $65 (Rs 4,400) in the US. Indian companies sell Indian version of Viagra at Rs 32.
