This could easily have been a tragic story. A woman in Weymouth--a seaside town in England--cleaned a strange object in the kitchen after she found it while digging her garden. First, she thought it was a big stone-10 inches long--but later she could not identify it. She put the picture on Facebook, asking people to identify it.

During all this time the unexploded and loaded bomb was with her. She initially threw it across the lawn thinking her pet might play with it. The strange object was covered in mud and she no inkling that it could be a bomb.

The Facebook users suggested to Lulu Cirillo, 49, that it was a bomb.
She immediately informed the police.

The bomb disposal squad took away the bomb informing her that it was loaded and very dangerous World War Two bomb

The bomb was detonated on Weymouth Beach at about 21:00 BST on Saturday.
