UP: Men hold 22-year-old-woman captive, gang-rape her for three days in Kanpur

Crime against women in the country is not stopping yet as every single minute a new case against women harassment, molestation or rape added to the list. Another shocking case has been reported in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur where a 22-year-old got raped by four men after holding her captive for three days in the city’s posh area.

The crime came to light when the survivor managed to flee from the clasp of her tormentors on Sunday.


The four accused have been identified as Amit Agrawal, Manoj, Saksham and Sameer Agarwal. Police have booked the accused for rape cases. However, three of the four accused have been arrested by police while Amit Agrawal, the prime accused managed to flee from the spot.

According to the reports in Times Now, the woman told the police that she befriended Sameer and Amit a few months ago. On Friday, she arrived from Guwahati via Lucknow for event management. Reportedly, the accused kept her in a hotel on Saturday and then took her to Bungalow in Gwaltoli area on Sunday.

According to PTI reports, the victim somehow managed to escape from the captivity of the accused.

The locals approached the police and informed them about the crime after hearing the screams of the survivor.

Police have taken the woman to a government hospital for her medical examination to confirm the crime.
