Noida police detained a physical training instructor who was accused of asking a student on Saturday to strip and do a ‘ramp walk’ in front of other students.

The teacher, who was from a government school in Sikandrabad of Bulandshahr, had come to Dadri for the zonal sports in another government school of a village on September 29. The teacher and the student are from the same distric but different villages Shikarpur and Bhetona village respectively.

The teacher, who was working on a contract basis in the government school of Sikarndrabad, was staying with other participants in a private school in Dadri for the three-day sports event.

According to an eyewitness who told the press without identifying himself, the matter started when the victim refused to give the mattress on which he was sleeping to other students. Those students bullied him and complained with the teacher. He also made a video of the victim on his mobile.

However, the victim called the police control room and a team of the police reached the spot but no case was registered.

SHO at Dadri police station Ram Sen Singh said “A PCR van must have reached the spot after a call was made, however, no written complaint was given in this regard. The two parties must have reached on a compromise”.

The police reportedly detained the teacher till Sunday but he was released later after the victim’s parents reached there. They refused to file any complaint in this regard.
