MP Police takes action against lockdown violators, hands pamphlets to street wanderer [PIC]

According to Mandsaur ASP, Hitesh Choudhary told reporters, “The pamphlets were distributed to the people who were roaming outside their homes and their picture was clicked and shared on social media so that they are ashamed of their actions. They should understand that if they are carriers of such a deadly disease, they are spreading it to the whole society.”

Meanwhile, section 144 of CrPC has been imposed in the district as many other parts of the country are under complete lockdown, excluding essential services.

Choudhary also appealed to the people to not step outside their homes until it is required and also said that action will be taken against the violators.

Earlier on Monday, the Centre asked state governments to strictly follow the lockdown imposed to prevent the further spread of the novel coronavirus and also asked govt to take legal action against defaulters.

In Madhya Pradesh, at least seven people have tested positive so far. While in India, the data reached 500 confirmed positive cases.
