Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is on a three day visit to the state of Gujarat, where he plans to address issues such as GST and demonetisation. Furthermore, he is expected to criticise the Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the economic and social failure in the state.

Gandhi has already visited the districts of Saurashtra, Rajkot and Surendranagar. During his visit, he was seen interacting with farmers and villagers, along with senior party leaders Bharatsinh Solanki and Ashok Gehlot.

Additionally, Gandhi is scheduled to cover towns such as Dhrol, Tankara, Chotila, Jasdan, Virpur, Jetpur before concluding his campaign in Khodaldham.

Meanwhile, according to the BJP spokesperson in Gujarat Bharat Pandya, “The Congress has lost elections wherever Rahul Gandhi had campaigned for the party. Under his leadership that party has lost 28 elections.” The party has openly termed Gandhi’s Gujarat campaign as “dramatic and laughable.”
