Ambulance given a way

An incredible video is going viral on social media where thousands of devotees can be seen making way for an ambulance during Ganesh visarjan. The video is from Pune’s Laxmi Road area where devotees were gathered for a Ganesh idol immersion procession. In the video, a few devotees can be seen clearing the path for the ambulance while it passes through the crowd.

News agency ANI shared the video on social media and since then it has garnered more than 75,000 views and 11,000 likes. ANI captioned the video, “#WATCH Maharashtra: Devotees give way to an ambulance during Ganesh idol immersion procession on Lakshmi Road in Pune. #GaneshVisarjan (12.09.2019).”

A similar scene played out in Odisha earlier this year when lakhs of devotees formed a human corridor to allow an ambulance to pass through during the annual Rath Yatra festival in Puri.

Some netizens found a communal colour into it while others appreciated the behaviour. One twitter user responded this should not be a piece of news as it is our duty to give a clear way to an ambulance if someone blocks the ambulance that should be news.
