Delhi: 37-year-old man stabbed to death in front of his wife, daughter outside their house

A man (37) was stabbed to death in the presence of his wife and daughter outside their resident in Delhi’s Rohini. After which a person has been taken into custody., the official said.

The incident, which happened outside the victim’s resident in Aman Vihar area on Thursday, was captured of CCTV, they stated.


In the CCTV footage, three people can be seen stabbing the victim, identified as Bharat Bhushan, before his wife and 10-year-old kid, said official.

Mukesh (31), who was a resident of Delhi’s Kirari Suleman Nagar, has been taken into custody in connection with the Killing of Bhushan, while the other suspects are absconding, said the officiall.

As per the police, at around 11.40 pm, Mukesh along with Deepak and his brother Suraj reached the victim's house. The three suspects called Bhushan outside and had a heated argument with him.

After a while, the accused allegedly caught hold of Bhushan and stabbed him multiple times in front of his wife and daughter, officials said. After stabbing the victim, the accuseds kept on kicking the victim and later left the spot on the bike.

Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime),BK Singh said the victim was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.

A case of murder (302) was filed at Aman Vihar police station, he said.

"After, our team received information on Saturday that Mukesh would be coming to Japanese Park, Rohini, sometime in the evening. A trap was laid and Mukesh was apprehended. During interrogation, he disclosed that he along with Suraj and Deepak had killed Bharat Bhushan for revenge," Singh said.

Mukesh is a taxi driver and Suraj and Deepak are his partners.

They used to meet Bhushan for playing cards, police said.

Mukesh told police that Bhushan often got into fights with them under the influence of alcohol.

He told police that Bhushan and his friends had allegedly beaten up Mukesh and Deepak near Rohini's Sector 20.

Later, Deepak, Suraj and Mukesh made a plan to take revenge and they allegedly murdered Bhushan, the officer added.
