Infant spends two days locked inside a house with his dead mother

In a shocking incident, a one-year-old child was found locked inside a house with two bodies including his mother's. The Hyderabad police rescued the child after two days when neighbors approached them.

According to the police, the other body was of a man who is believed to be the mother's partner. Reportedly, the woman was strangled by him after they both had a quarrel on 2 September and the man hung himself after killing her.

After the neighbours found milk packets lying outside the house for two days, they informed the police about it.

An NDTV report states that the couple -- Manjunath and Meena -- had eloped from Karnataka to Hyderabad and were living in Kukatapally area.
