An NDTV report revealed startling facts about a 21-year-old online stalker Abdul Majid from Hyderabad who posed as a girl and made friends with over 200 college and school-going girls on Facebook. He pretended to be a loyal friend and the girls started sharing details of their sexual encounters with him.

Majid was arrested on 10 September and revealed to the police that he used to coerce the women to send him money or nude photos by threatening to disclose their secrets online.

The reports said that eight young women sent him their naked photos and one sent him Rs 86,000. "Hundreds of private pictures of victims have been found in the mobile phone of the accused," informed a police personnel.

Majid was nabbed by the police after Shweti Prabhu, mother of a girl who was stalked by him, went to the police and reported the entire issue.
