Lead singer of the famous Irish band, Bono under unforeseen circumstances, lost his voice midway while singing during his concert in Berlin.

U2 had to cut short their 'Experience & Innocence 2018 tour' concert in Berlin on Saturday.
In a recently released statement, U2 expressed their apology for this sudden development which led to the show being cancelled midway, reported E! Online. They further added that the singer's voice was perfect before the show started.

The 58-year-old singer lost his voice while singing 'Red Flag Day'. He had only performed for only 20 minutes. It is at this instant that the band stopped playing any musical instruments.
Bono suspected that the stage smoke in the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin affected his voice.

After he requested the stage managers to increase the air conditioning system, he tried performing to 'Beautiful Day', but then too he struggled like his last song.

Saddened by this fact, he said he will find out as to what exactly happened, and exited the stage.

After about 40 minutes, the show had to be cancelled.
It was the second time that the band had to cancel a show midway. The last time it happened was back in 1989 during their performance in Amsterdam.
The band is set to perform next in Cologne, Germany.
